Channel Sales Head – Solar Panels

Position Overview: Sunkind is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Channel Sales Head to lead the
development and expansion of our solar panel distribution network across India. This role is crucial for
driving the growth of our new solar panel manufacturing business. The ideal candidate will have
extensive experience in solar panel channel sales, with a proven ability to establish and scale a national
shop network.


  • Key Responsibilities:

 Strategy Development: Craft and execute a comprehensive channel sales strategy tailored to
the solar panel market, aligned with Sunkind’s business goals and growth targets.
 Network Establishment: Build and manage a nationwide distributor network, ensuring effective
market penetration and strengthening brand presence.
 Market Analysis: Perform in-depth market research to identify opportunities, evaluate
competitive dynamics, and adjust strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
 Scheme and Incentive Design: Develop and implement enticing schemes, promotions, and
incentive programs to drive channel partner engagement and performance.
 Team Building: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing channel sales team, providing the
necessary guidance and support to meet sales objectives and foster business growth.
 Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with distributors,
dealers, and key stakeholders to ensure sustainable partnerships and business success.
 Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze channel performance metrics, making data-
driven decisions and adjustments to achieve sales targets and distribution goals.
 


Qualifications:
 Experience: 7-10 years of experience in channel sales within the solar panel industry, with a
demonstrated ability to establish and manage a national distributor network.
 Proven Track Record: Significant experience in setting up and scaling solar panel shop networks
across India.
 Skills: Exceptional strategic planning, negotiation, and leadership abilities. Expertise in market
analysis and competitive strategy formulation.
 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degrees or
relevant certifications are advantageous.
