JOB DESCRIPTION

This position is responsible for heading IT/OT deployment of AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) projects during both implementation and O&M (Operations & Maintenance) phases. The role includes providing technical support to Site Managers to ensure smooth operations and successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities / Principal Accountabilities

Heading IT/OT Deployment of AMI Projects (Implementation & O&M Phases)

Responsible for implementing all IT & OT-related activities for the successful Go-Live of AMI projects.

Oversee the development of WFM App, Consumer App, and Web Portal with the System Integrator, ensuring alignment with operational requirements.

Review and finalize AMI design documents submitted by the System Integrator and ensure DISCOM approval.

Ensure timely availability of IT infrastructure with appropriate sizing and performance for AMI applications production and successful Go-Live.

Monitor daily IT-related operations and coordinate with the System Integrator to resolve SLA gaps.

Manage client interactions and conduct state-level initiatives for successful AMI project implementation.

Coordinate with DISCOM agencies for integration of legacy systems.

Skills and Knowledge

Educational Qualifications:

Engineering Graduate

Functional Skills:

Exposure to Energy Distribution Utilities (experience in AMI / AMR Projects would be an added advantage).

Relevant Experience:

6–8 years of experience in relevant domains.
