Overall Responsibility for AMI Deployment, Meter Installation, and O&M
-Lead a team of Circle Incharges, Field Technicians, and Vendors at Subdivision/Division/Circle levels for consumer indexing, DT surveys, and meter installation.
-Ensure that all O&M activities are performed as per contractual obligations.
-Approve SNID for Vendors and manage the third-party roles of Technicians.
-Ensure full compliance with AMI Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and uphold Apraava’s Code of Conduct with zero tolerance for malpractices.
-Lead regular reviews with AMI Implementation Partners and Meter Manufacturers.
-Define business process requirements for AMI systems, evaluate process efficiency, and recommend improvements aligned with organizational objectives.
-Maintain a customer-centric approach, attend DISCOM project review meetings, and handle escalations effectively.
-Monitor project issues in real-time and ensure timely resolution.
-Prepare and submit daily MIS reports to stakeholders.
-Identify and target operational improvement areas, recommending actionable solutions.
-Ensure strategic inventory planning, allocation of meters to technicians, and work area distribution.
-Oversee training for new technical support staff.
-Conduct L2 validation for assigned circles and resolve rejection cases through field teams.
-Ensure gateway installations are completed before project milestones.

Functional Skills:
Exposure to Energy Distribution Utilities (experience in AMI / AMR Projects would be an added advantage)
Relevant Experience:
8–10 years of experience in relevant roles within the energy or smart metering domain.
