Marketing Manager

About the Role / Role Overview

 

Prarthana School is seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Manager to lead its marketing and communication initiatives. The ideal candidate will manage the school’s brand presence across digital platforms, drive admissions-focused campaigns, and ensure consistent storytelling aligned with the school’s values.

This role is ideal for a hands-on individual who can ideate and execute end-to-end marketing strategies while guiding a small in-house team to deliver impactful results.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Marketing & Strategy

-Develop and execute annual and quarterly marketing strategies to support admissions and enhance brand visibility.

-Create and manage promotional campaigns across online and offline channels.

-Track campaign performance to identify which initiatives are driving admission inquiries and conversions.

-Generate weekly admission and marketing performance reports for leadership review.

 

Digital & Social Media Management

 

-Oversee the school’s social media presence across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

-Create content calendars and ensure timely posting and audience engagement.

-Collaborate with internal teams for event coverage, storytelling, and campaign concepts.

-Ideate creative content that reflects the school’s culture, achievements, and unique identity.

 

Content Creation

 

-Basic working knowledge of Canva for design editing and template creation.

-Ability to shoot and edit photos and videos for reels, short films, testimonials, and events.

-Write engaging and creative copy for posts, brochures, website pages, and campaigns.

 

Website & Digital Assets

 

-Maintain and update the school website including banners, content uploads, and event updates.

-Ensure the website remains optimized, visually appealing, and consistent with brand messaging.

 

Leadership & Coordination

 

-Manage and mentor a team of two marketing staff members.

-Coordinate with the admissions team, academic teams, and external vendors where required.

-Maintain brand consistency across all communication materials.

 

Key Requirements

 

-Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Digital Media, or a related field.

-3–5 years of relevant experience in marketing, preferably in the education or service-oriented industry.

-Working knowledge of social media analytics tools, digital dashboards, and CRM systems preferred.

-Hands-on experience with Canva, and basic photo/video editing tools (CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar).

-Strong understanding of LinkedIn for professional branding and outreach.

-Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.

-Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines.
