About the Role / Job Purpose

This position is responsible for heading IT/OT deployment of AMI projects during both implementation and O&M phases. The role also includes providing technical support to Site Managers to ensure smooth operations and successful project execution.

Principal Accountabilities / Key Responsibilities

Heading IT/OT Deployment of AMI Projects (Implementation & O&M Phases)

-Implement all IT and OT-related activities required for successful Go-Live of AMI projects.

-Oversee development of WFM App, Consumer App, and Web Portal with the System Integrator in line with operational needs.

-Review and finalize AMI design documents submitted by the System Integrator and ensure DISCOM approvals.

-Ensure timely availability of IT infrastructure with appropriate sizing and performance for AMI applications and production Go-Live.

-Conduct day-to-day monitoring and coordination with the System Integrator to resolve IT-related SLA gaps.

-Manage client interactions and lead state-level initiatives for successful implementation of AMI projects.

-Coordinate with DISCOM agencies for integration of legacy systems.

Skills and Knowledge

Educational Qualifications:

-Engineering Graduate

Functional Skills:

-Exposure to Energy Distribution Utilities (experience in AMI / AMR projects would be an added advantage)

Experience:

-6–8 years of relevant experience
