The role is responsible for ensuring smooth front-end operations related to account servicing and relationship management, with the objective of generating and growing Del Monte Foods business across Modern Trade and E-commerce channels.
-Build strong business relationships with category decision-makers across multiple categories.
-Establish business targets and regional performance goals in discussion with the MT & E-commerce Head, and ensure execution of overall strategy to achieve target revenues.
-Drive market intelligence by tracking market trends, customer preferences, competitive actions, and new product introductions to build effective sales strategies.
-Manage the sales budget and ensure operating costs remain within allocated limits.
-Drive New Product Introduction (NPI) listing and linking through strong account relationships, as per stipulated timelines.
-Liaise with Del Monte supply chain and account operations teams to drive efficiency parameters such as in-stock levels and fill rates.
-Ensure commercial hygiene by driving timely payment collections and conducting quarterly reconciliations with the commercial team.
-Manage claims to ensure they remain within budget and are settled monthly in coordination with the commercial team.
-Negotiate, discuss, and close all TOTs and agreements with support from relevant internal teams.
-Ensure all claims and credit notes are settled on a monthly basis.
-Ensure account ledgers are reconciled and signed off with customers on a quarterly basis.
-Ensure all payments are received within approved credit limits and proactively seek approvals for any exceptions.
-Coordinate with the Quality team to address customer complaints and ensure timely CAPA delivery.
Graduation: Any specialization
Post-Graduation (Mandatory): PGDM / MBA in Marketing or Sales Management
Must have experience handling Key Accounts in an FMCG company.
