This role is responsible for leading, developing, shaping, and delivering brand extension lines (brand-associated products and programmes) supported by distinctive brand assets, toolkits, and guidelines. The objective is to drive consumer commitment, long-term brand equity growth, and short- to medium-term P&L performance, while ensuring full statutory and regulatory compliance in the India market.
The role enables brand growth and revenue generation, ensuring brands can advertise and scale across platforms in line with local legal requirements.
-Collaborate with global and local stakeholders (Global Brand Teams, Local Brand Teams, Quality Team, etc.) to develop brand extension product ranges, including product, packaging, pricing ladders, and associated requirements.
-Deliver brand innovation and renovation in line with global brand direction, while managing key deliverables through internal gate processes.
-Work with internal teams and third-party marketing partners to plan and execute effective marketing strategies, delivering assets aligned with local market needs and global excellence standards.
-Develop and manage project launch plans for brand extension initiatives, including tools and assets, and monitor commercial performance to deliver an independent P&L.
-Lead measurement and evaluation of brand extension performance through dashboards, reporting rhythms, and analysis of trends and opportunities.
-Translate performance data into market insights to identify learning, optimization opportunities, and future brand line extensions.
-Ensure adherence to quality standards, compliance requirements, financial tracking, and accountability, with all necessary mandates and approvals in place to protect brand integrity and trademarks.
-Lead and ensure regulatory compliance across brand extension lines in close collaboration with internal legal teams and external partners, including industry associations.
-Drive business development for brand extensions, including setting criteria and evaluating partnerships, to support brand investment while fostering agility, learning, and results-driven execution.
