Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Structure Design
Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience
in mechanical design, with a strong background in the solar industry. This role involves
designing, analysing, and optimizing mechanical structures and components for solar
energy systems, ensuring their reliability, efficiency, and compliance with industry
standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Development: Create detailed mechanical designs and 3D models for solar
structures, including mounting systems, trackers, and support structures. Utilize CAD
software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, Sketchup) to develop and modify
designs.
Analysis and Optimization: Perform structural analysis and simulations in STAAD
software to ensure designs meet performance and safety standards. Optimize designs for
cost-effectiveness and manufacturability.
Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive technical
documentation, including design specifications, reports, and manuals. Preparation of
detailed BOM for the design prepared and approved. Ensure all documentation is
accurate and up-to-date.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers,
project managers, and manufacturing teams, to integrate mechanical designs with other
system components.
Prototyping and Testing: Oversee the prototyping and testing phases of design
projects. Analyse test results and implement design modifications as needed.
Compliance and Standards: Ensure that designs comply with industry standards,
regulations, and safety requirements. Stay informed about new standards and best
practices in the solar industry.
Problem Solving: Identify and resolve design and engineering issues during
development and deployment. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance
as required.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvements and innovations in
design practices and tools. Keep abreast of advancements in solar technology and
mechanical engineering.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A Master’s
degree is a plus.
Experience: 6-8 years of experience in mechanical design, with a strong focus on the
solar industry or related renewable energy sectors.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, STAAD Pro,
Skecthup etc.), structural analysis tools (ANSYS, Abaqus, etc.), and familiarity with
manufacturing processes and materials.
Knowledge: In-depth understanding of mechanical design principles, structural
analysis, and solar energy systems. Experience with solar mounting systems, trackers,
and related components is highly desirable.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to
develop innovative solutions for complex design challenges.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present
technical information clearly and collaborate effectively with team members and
stakeholders.
Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet
deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in design and documentation.

Salary: - CTC range 5 LPA to 8 LPA depends on experience and interview process. Over
and above the salary, HR policy of the company will be applicable for daily allowance,
site lodging expenses and medical insurance for the family.
