About the Role / Purpose of the Job
The role is responsible for handling Direct and Indirect Taxation activities, ensuring timely compliance, accurate reporting, and coordination with auditors and tax authorities. The position supports business teams and management through effective tax compliance, reconciliation, and MIS reporting.
Key Responsibilities / Deliverables
Direct & Indirect Taxation
- - Preparation and filing of monthly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-6) within timelines.
- - Preparation and finalization of Annual GST returns.
- Ensure matching of GST input as per books with GSTR-2B.
- - Compute GST reversals as per applicable GST laws.
- - Ensure GST inputs match with data as per GST portal.
- - Ensure sales reconciliation with GSTR-1.
- - TDS/TCS deduction, compliances, and return filing.
- - Preparation of schedules for Income Tax audits on a timely basis.
- - Preparation of data to assist in filing replies for assessments with tax authorities on Direct and Indirect tax matters.
- - Preparation of various schedules for Tax Audit.
- - Preparation of monthly MIS schedules and reporting as per company guidelines.
- - Provide details to Statutory and Internal Auditors and ensure audits are completed without issues.
- - Hands-on experience working with different GST software.

Skills & Knowledge
- - Strong working knowledge of Income Tax and GST.
- - Good knowledge of SAP.
- - Proficient in MS Excel.
- - Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- - Ability to work under deadlines.

Educational Qualifications & Experience
- - Graduate / Post Graduate with 5–7 years of experience, or
- - Semi-qualified with 2–3 years of experience.
