Business Development Manager

Job Purpose

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving new business growth by strategically developing sales initiatives aligned with current and future growth plans. The role focuses on identifying key decision-makers within target accounts, generating new opportunities, managing the RFP process, and securing new business using a solution-selling approach based on client needs.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • - Identify and create new sales opportunities to expand the customer base.
  • - Generate new revenue across relocation and assignment management services with a strong understanding of the mobility process.
  • - Act as a subject matter expert, providing consultative advice, best practices, and industry updates to clients.
  • - Deliver effective sales presentations and accurate documentation to executive-level stakeholders across HR, mobility, and procurement functions.
  • - Meet or exceed agreed revenue and new appointment targets.
  • - Report weekly on sales activity and account progression to the Sales & Marketing Director.
  • - Manage sales appointments and pipeline through effective diary management.
  • - Represent the company as a brand ambassador at public speaking and industry events.

 

Skills & Experience Requirements

  • - Minimum 3 years of experience in solution-based selling.
  • - Proven track record in new business development (hunter role) across multiple market segments.
  • - Experience engaging with senior management through phone and in-person presentations.
  • - Demonstrated success in achieving sales goals and executing action plans.
  • - Experience selling contracted services.
  • - Strong customer-focused problem-solving and resolution skills.
  • - Innovative mindset with strong experimentation and creative thinking abilities.
  • - Current knowledge of the mobility and relocation industry, market trends, and economic factors.
  • - Strong presentation skills, including proficiency in PowerPoint.
  • - Experience selling into vertical markets.
  • - Strong negotiation skills and understanding of Salesforce (CRM).
  • - Consistent achievement of goals through self-motivation and leadership.

  • - Fluent in local language and English; additional languages are an advantage.
