Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Business Strategy & Growth
- -Develop and execute the country strategy aligned with regional objectives.
- -Drive topline growth, market share, and profitability targets.
- -Identify new business opportunities across GT, MT, and HoReCa channels.
- -Lead market entry/expansion initiatives for new product categories.

Sales & Distribution Management
- -Build and manage a robust distribution network across Sri Lanka. Experience of remaining SAARC countries will be an added advantage.
- -Appoint, manage, and optimize distributor performance.
- -Ensure strong availability, visibility, and execution at the point of sale.
- -Drive channel-wise growth (General Trade, Modern Trade, HoReCa, E-commerce).

P&L Ownership
- -Own complete country P&L, including revenue, margins, and cost control.
- -Monitor financial performance and drive corrective actions.
- -Optimize pricing, trade spends, and promotional investments.

Brand & Marketing Execution
- -Execute brand strategies in line with regional guidelines.
- -Drive in-market activations, promotions, and visibility initiatives.
- -Collaborate with marketing teams to localize campaigns.

Stakeholder & Partner Management
- - Build strong relationships with key distributors, retailers, and partners.
- - Engage with modern trade chains and key accounts.
- - Liaise with internal cross-functional teams (supply chain, finance, marketing).

Supply Chain & Operations
- - Ensure efficient demand planning, inventory management, and logistics.
- - Minimize stock-outs and optimize working capital.
- - Coordinate with export/supply teams for smooth operations.

Compliance & Governance
- - Ensure compliance with local regulations, taxation, and legal frameworks.
- - Maintain high standards of corporate governance and ethics.

Decision Level
- Prime: To assist the Delivery/Department Heads with decision-making for effective deliveries.
- Shared: Decisions reached jointly with stakeholders on a collective basis.
