Job Description

• - Responsible for designing ground-mounted structures and foundations. 
• - Validate solar structure designs and corresponding design optimisation. 
• - Generate design drawings, calculation reports, BOQ, etc., as per IS codes and other global building codes. 
• - Coordinate with clients for technical discussions and documentation. 
• - Provide complete technical support to the Global BD Team. 
• - Design and develop civil engineering solutions for solar tracker projects. 
• - Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and prepare detailed engineering reports. 
• - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical and electrical engineers, project managers, and external suppliers. 
• - Prepare and review engineering drawings, plans, and specifications. 
• - Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively. 
• - Provide technical support and guidance during installation, commissioning, and maintenance phases. 
• - Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues. 
• - Stay updated with industry trends, standards, and best practices.

Requirements

• - Experience working as Civil Design Engineer, Solar Mounting Structure Engineer, Solar System Design Engineer, or similar role. 
• - Knowledge of Tracker + Fixed Tilt system structure design and tracker products. 
• - Proficient in design software like STAAD, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, L-Pile, etc. 
• - Understanding of IS codes as well as other international codes for civil and structural designs. 
• - Expertise in designing ground-mounted structures and foundations. 
• - Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
• - Proficient in both verbal and written communication in English for business purposes.  
• - Willingness to travel to different locations and project sites as needed.
