Manager - PV Projects

Job Description 

 

  • To effectively sell Solar Rooftop systems to commercial and industrial customers, particularly SMEs. 
  • To work closely with existing customers, referral networks, and channel partners to generate leads, conduct site surveys, develop proposals, close sales, manage documentation for credit approvals, and ensure collections. 

 

Business Targets

  • FY 2025–26: Revenue Target – ₹5 Crore 
  • FY 2026–27: Revenue Target – ₹10 Crore 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • - Drive sales of rooftop solar systems to commercial and industrial customers, with a strong focus on SMEs. 
  • - Promote in-house financing options and leverage them to accelerate deal closures. 
  • - Achieve monthly targets for lead generation, site surveys, order bookings, invoicing, and collections. 
  • - Ensure adherence to company guidelines related to collections and commercial processes. 
  • - Work closely with marketing and project teams to organise industry awareness programs and customer engagement activities. 
  • - Actively pursue leads and maintain accurate updates in the CRM system. 
  • - Conduct initial site surveys and coordinate detailed technical assessments with internal engineering and operations teams. 
  • - Develop and present customised proposals to customers. 
  • - Visit customer sites to evaluate technical feasibility and support solution design. 
  • - Monitor project execution and installation progress to ensure customer satisfaction. 
  • - Maintain strong relationships with customers and ensure smooth post-sales support. 
  • - Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and market updates. 
  • - Track competitor activities, offerings, and market trends. 

 

Experience & Qualifications

  • - 5–6+ years of experience in B2B sales. 
  • - Prior experience in Solar Rooftop PV and/or Ground-Mounted Solar projects preferred. 
  • - Good understanding of State Open Access regulations and solar policies. 
  • - Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering. 
  • - Strong commercial acumen combined with technical understanding. 
  • - Self-driven, proactive, and entrepreneurial mindset. 
  • - Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills. 
  • - Ability to travel frequently and at short notice.
