Key Responsibilities and Deliverables
Annual Rate Contracts (ARC) Management
- Frame, negotiate, and renew ARCs for safety materials, electrical components, and consumables (e.g., MC4 Connectors, Cable Ties, Lugs, Fuses, and jointing kits).
- Manage ARCs for essential operational services such as module cleaning, grass cutting, table tilting, manpower supply, and equipment maintenance for solar plant operations.
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Administer procurement for electrical items like AC/DC cables, fuses, CT-PT, string combiner boxes, inverters, and spare parts.
- Manage procurement of services such as hydrology surveys, roadwork, machinery hire (e.g., JCB, Tractors), and third-party manpower.
- Oversee PAN India procurement of site consumables (e.g., water coolers, air conditioners) and scrap sales.
Operations & Maintenance (O&M)
- Lead O&M activities for over 3 GW of solar plants across 60+ sites in India.
- Coordinate daily operations with O&M, finance, compliance, and logistics teams to ensure smooth functioning.
- Drive KPIs for outsourced O&M services, streamline processes, and ensure cost-effective operations.
Vendor Evaluation & Contract Management
- Develop vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and evaluate performance for quality and service excellence.
- Float RFQs and manage the bidding process, ensuring competitive procurement.
- Frame agreements and issue supply/service orders via SAP.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with design, O&M, finance, and compliance teams to align on specifications and operational needs.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and services while addressing escalations.
Process Improvement & Strategic Initiatives
- Lead initiatives to improve procurement, vendor management, and O&M processes.
- Introduce innovative solutions (e.g., advanced module cleaning) to enhance solar plant efficiency.
- Expand vendor base and optimize cost management.
Non-Negotiable Skills and Abilities
Technical Proficiency
- Expertise in procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiations in the renewable energy sector.
- Strong understanding of electrical components and operational requirements for solar plants.
- Familiarity with SAP or other procurement software.
Core Competencies
- Contract management, including framing, negotiation, and execution.
- Project management skills to handle multiple procurement and operational tasks.
- Regulatory compliance knowledge, especially MNRE guidelines.

Educational & Experience Requirements
- Experience: 5-10 years in a relevant field.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
