JOB ROLE: Executive - Expeditor
TEAM: Supply Chain Management

REPORTS TO: AGM - SCM
DIRECT REPORTS: NA
LOCATION: Gurugram

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DELIVERABLES / OUTCOMES

Order Management

• Monitor and track the progress of orders, shipments, and deliveries to ensure they meet deadlines and Project's requirements
• Review and prioritize orders based on urgency, production schedules
• Handle urgent or critical orders with a sense of urgency and a problem-solving mindset.

Vendor & Supplier Coordination

• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to expedite orders and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Monitor and assess supplier performance, addressing any issues related to lead times, quality, or communication.

Collaboration with Project Team

• Collaborate with Project teams to ensure materials are available as per project schedule.
• Ensure accurate documentation and records of orders, shipments, and inventory levels.

Logistics & Delivery Coordination

• Collaborate with logistics and transportation teams to arrange for timely shipments and deliveries.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on order status, delivery schedules, and any potential delays.

Issue Resolution & Risk Management

• Resolve any discrepancies or discrepancies in orders, quantities, or specifications.
• Identify potential bottlenecks or delays in the supply chain and take proactive measures to mitigate risks.
• Coordinate with the SCM team to understand the PO's T&Cs and guidance.

Process Improvement & Cross-Departmental Communication

• Maintain effective communication with all relevant departments to ensure alignment and efficiency.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline order processing and procurement procedures.

Supply Chain Management

• Deep understanding of order management, inventory control, logistics, and supplier coordination to ensure smooth flow of goods and materials.

Vendor & Supplier Relationship Management

• Strong skills in coordinating with suppliers, managing performance, and resolving any issues that arise during procurement and delivery processes.

Communication & Collaboration

• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams (procurement, production, logistics) and external stakeholders (vendors, customers).
• Ability to provide clear updates on order statuses.

Process Improvement Mindset

• A commitment to continuous improvement, with the ability to identify inefficiencies in procurement and logistics processes and propose effective solutions.

Technology & Systems Proficiency

• Familiarity with supply chain management software, ERP systems, and tools used for tracking orders and inventory.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Experience: 2-4 years in the relevant field.
• Education: Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field.
