We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated BD Head to join our dynamic team. As a Business
development Head, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to manage
and enhance our company's reputation, business, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and
navigate regulatory environments.
Main duties and responsibilities
o Frontend the Business development strategies of the company as a BD Head.
o Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’
objectives.
o Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
o Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
o Explore the market for floating Solar and tap relevant opportunities.
o List down, update and track on a regular basis, the opportunities till closure.
o Provide expert advice to the Nodal agencies about floating solar system.
o Coordinate meetings between engineering/design/estimation team with clients for
discussing & finalizing techno-commercial terms.
o Effective Internal communications with stakeholders to complete the project on
time.
o Support other stakeholders like engineering, construction, Supply chain and
manufacturing to build effective coordination with the clients.
o Make a budgetary offer for new business initiation.
o LOA & Contract finalization with EPC/developers/clients within specific timelines
o Provide market intelligence by way of competitor activities and other relevant
information.
o Develop insights (based on past, present data, future estimates) and share them with
management during reviews.
o Devise strategies based on the above insights and created new business
opportunities (or improve the existing business plan and try to achieve goals)
o Tender bid submission/Online bid support
o Participate in Prebid meetings/seminars/project discussions with clients.
o Risk analysis and mitigation.
o Conduct strategic analysis for a broad range of regional topics (i.e., Market and
Competitors' analyses, analysis of strategic action fields)
Qualifications & Skills
o Engineering Graduate (EEE, ECE or Mech.) & MBA with marketing.
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to manage different
stakeholders both internally and externally.
o Prior Experience in Solar must have.
Technical Competencies:
o Understanding of the tender documents, and technical and commercial points.
o Knowledge of Govt/Statutory and Regulatory Policy details.
o Understanding of drawing/specification / standards, SOPs, FQPs, checklists,
functional procedures, Microsoft usage, SAP, Business Dynamics, and ARIBA
o Preparation and submission of techno-commercial offers to clients.
