Role Summary

• Obtain long-term project finance and working capital facilities for the Group.
• Carry out all activities related to and ancillary to the same in the capacity of an individual contributor.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Focusing on Fundraising and Project Finance

• Oversee fundraising and project finance activities for the renewable energy business, including short-term and long-term financing.
• Prepare financial models and ensure their accuracy.
• Maintain and build sustainable relationships with financial institutions, including Banks, NBFCs, Institutional Investors, and Credit Rating Agencies.
• Implement and institute best practices in project finance.

Strategic Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team on debt financing and working capital deals.
• Build and nurture long-term, sustainable relationships with Banks, Financial Institutions, and Rating Agencies.

Financial Responsibilities

• Maintain consistent focus on liquidity and securing the lowest cost of capital for long/short-term investments.
• Manage debt financing, including term loans, project finance loans, bonds, and related instruments.

Operational Responsibilities

• Implement best practices in project finance.
• Build and maintain relationships with Banks, Investors, Rating Agencies, and other financial institutions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Experience: 3–7 years of experience in Project Finance and Fundraising in the Renewable Energy sector.
  • Experience managing the complete lifecycle from origination to execution of project finance and term loans.
• Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance with relevant work experience.
