The Senior Associate in International Arbitration will play a pivotal role in managing
complex cross-border arbitration matters. The ideal candidate will have expertise in
international dispute resolution, a deep understanding of arbitration rules and
institutions, and significant experience handling high-value and multifaceted cases.
Contractual Disputes: Disagreements over interpretation or performance of
construction contracts.
Delays and Extensions: Claims for time extensions and liquidated damages.
Payment Disputes: Issues like non-payment, underpayment, or disputes over
valuation.
Defects: Claims arising from construction defects or substandard work.
Joint Development Disputes: Conflicts between joint venture partners over profit-
sharing, decision-making, or performance obligations.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Law degree (JD, LLM, or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
Experience: 5–8+ years of experience in international arbitration at a reputed law
firm or organization.
Certification: Admission to practice law in at least one jurisdiction. Additional
qualifications in arbitration (e.g., CIArb) are a plus.
Key Skills:
Strong expertise in arbitration laws and rules (e.g., ICC, LCIA, SIAC).
Excellent legal drafting and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple, complex cases simultaneously.
Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
