1. JOB PURPOSE
The Advance Metering Infrastructure (AMI) business is expanding rapidly at Apraava, with locations pan India, including Assam, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, etc. The Accounts & Finance function is located centrally at the Registered Office in Delhi.
This position is responsible for overseeing the AMI business within the state, covering areas such as implementation, O&M, and revenue/cash management.

3. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Accountabilities | Major Activities
Overall responsibility for AMI business in the state, including implementation, O&M, and revenue/cash management.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders of DISCOM, directly impacting Smart Meter rollout in the state.
- Ensure projects under deployment meet agreed technical standards.
- Identify and evaluate quality problems, providing solutions during all phases of the contract.
- Act as the custodian of all inspection and test records/certificates.
- Responsible for all witness testing, approval of test records, and general management of the QA/QC program for the project.
Sample Audit & Reporting
- Conduct sample audits of consumer indexing data.
- Perform sample audits of field deployments and workmanship.
- Regularly submit QA/QC MIS to the Program Manager.
Project Planning & Monitoring
- Lead project planning for operational activities circle-wise within the state, focusing on Meter Installation, Meter Advising, and Bill Generation.
- Plan and forecast meter supply chain to the Meter SCM team.
- Monitor and report daily field progress (team mobilization, meter installation, old meter handover, meter reporting in HES).
- Coordinate and monitor meter supplies post-delivery, including weekly reconciliation of meters at the warehouse.
- Lead circle-wise teams, monitor field-level operation issues, and ensure resolution by handling stakeholders.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure full compliance with AMI SOPs and exhibit zero tolerance for malpractices, in line with Apraava’s Code of Conduct and with project partners.
- Validate monthly SLA reports and submit invoices to DISCOM.

Educational Qualifications
Functional Skills
- Exposure to Energy Distribution Utilities (AMI/AMR Projects preferred).
Relevant Experience
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
