JOB PURPOSE
- Identify the best ways to market the in-house finance facility to achieve maximum reach and awareness among SMEs regarding Orb’s unique finance for rooftop solar.
- Identify high-potential, credit-worthy customers interested in the Company’s unique in-house finance facility, and meet prospects independently or with the sales team to help close these orders.
- Follow up to secure documentation from prospects and customers who have placed orders, ensuring it reaches the head office as quickly as possible.
- Actively manage customer relations through to billing and assist with ongoing relationship management and money collection where required.
DIMENSIONS
- Generate more than 200 applications in FY 24-25 across all states.
- Generate in-house finance system billing of 20 Cr in FY 24-25.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Work with marketing to identify the best digital strategy to increase awareness of Orb’s finance facility for rooftop solar among SMEs and oversee execution with the marketing team.
- Identify and extract appropriate databases, conducting research to identify large numbers of creditworthy and high-power consumers.
- Mine the CRM database and conduct outreach to prospects who have not purchased, ensuring they are aware of the in-house finance facility and promoting it.
- Regularly collaborate with marketing on messaging to attract SMEs and identify other non-digital marketing avenues.
- Work with the marketing department to contact potential business leaders through direct telemarketing and emails to promote rooftop solar with Orb credit finance, then hand over to sales staff.
- Ensure that at industry meets, customers are made aware of in-house finance in invitations, and assess whether this is the case at the meets.
- Track all potential customers, conduct joint visits to secure orders, and work closely with sales staff through to billing.
- Expedite documentation collection through direct face-to-face meetings with prospects and customers at the pre-approval stage, as well as prior to loan sanctioning.
- Engage in regular training of sales staff in selling the in-house finance product – contribute to the design of training with the marketing department, and execute such training.
- Maintain strong customer relations post-billing to ensure timely repayment and repeat billing.
- Recommend new finance products to GM Credit Finance.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Should have a B. Com or MBA in Finance.
- Should have experience in the sales of MSME/Business loans in a Bank / NBFC.
- 5-6 years of experience in sales of finance products with basic knowledge of credit underwriting and documentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Prior knowledge of business data extraction from various web portals and other marketing techniques for MSME finance.
