KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDELIVERABLES/OUTCOMES
Position OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic AGM/DGM - Project – Corporate Affairs to lead the end-to-end approval process for construction, commissioning, and operation our renewable energy projects across India. This is a crucial role requiring comprehensive knowledge of regulatory frameworks and the ability to engage effectively with government bodies and stakeholders.
Approval Management
  • Oversee the acquisition of project-related approvals, ensuring compliance with all state and central regulations.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Collaborate with key government and regulatory authorities to facilitate timely approvals.
Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead a team of managers in securing necessary local approvals.
Process Optimization
  • Streamline approval processes to enhance efficiency across states.
Negotiation & Documentation
  • Negotiate with stakeholders and prepare essential documentation for submissions.
Travel & On-Site Intervention
  • Provide on-ground support across India as required.
Policy & Regulatory Compliance
  • Stay updated on policy changes impacting our projects and ensure compliance.

EDUCTION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Technology/Engineering/Energy or related field.

 

Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, ideally within a leading renewable energy developer in India.

  • NOC from Airport Authority, Defence and Forest Department 
  • PCB Intimations / Consent to Establish & Operate / EPR Compliance
  • Auxiliary Load Sanction / Startup Power
  • SLDC Registrations
  • CEIG Plan & Charging Approvals
  • Fire NOCs and Factory Licenses; Building Plan Approvals
  • Commissioning / COD Certificates
  • QCA Undertakings & Registration
  • Ministry Clearances wherever required
  • BOCW Registration & Cess Payments; Labour Licenses
  • Other Plant Energization and Synchronization Approvals 
  • Key government bodies and regulatory authorities, with whom the engagement will be required, include, but not limited to below:
  • State and Central Transmission and Distribution Utilities
  • State Load Dispatch Centres
  • Indian Railways, NHAI and PTCC, Central and State Pollution Control Boards
  • Labour Departments, Forest Departments and Fire Departments
  • Candidate will be required to manage the submission of applications, correspondence, clarification requests, and compliance reports with these bodies. Further, he/she would ensure timely follow-ups and resolutions of the approval processes
