1. JOB PURPOSE
This position exists to provide finance and accounting support for the upcoming wind business of Apraava Energy. The objective is to record and maintain proper business transactions for Apraava Energy’s wind business, ensuring compliance with the company’s regulatory and statutory policies.

3. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Invoice Processing
- Receive invoices from the user department and check bills as per the Purchase Order/Work Order and approval matrix (CMAM).
- Seek clarifications from the user group in case of deviations.
- Submit invoices in Oracle for online approval (posting in Oracle) by superiors.
- Ensure invoices are prepared as per the Purchase/Work Order to maintain vendor service quality and uphold the company's reputation.
Loan Repayments
- Inform and follow up with the finance team for working capital/long-term loans related to project payments.
- Ensure timely interest/principal payments to foreign and local lenders as per loan agreements.
- Maintain compliance with project payment deadlines, audit requirements, and financial regulations.
Administration
- Book daily accounting transactions in Oracle following company policies and accepted accounting standards.
- Check travel advances and claims of all employees for policy compliance.
Month-End Book Closure
- Record month-end entries, including regular & interest accruals, prepaid entries, and intercompany transactions.
- Compile data and prepare debit notes, circulate and enter them into the system, and follow up on TDS amounts.
- Ensure timely closing of books and submission of monthly reports to the HK team.
Fund Management
- Track and maintain funds for regular and tax payments.
- Ensure excess funds are maintained in fixed deposits for future payment requirements.
Taxation
- Plan and calculate taxes as per the latest taxation laws and make recommendations for review.
- Prepare and file monthly/quarterly/half-yearly/annual returns (GST, service tax, income tax, professional tax, etc.).
- Provide necessary data and clarifications to tax consultants for assessment and filings.
- Ensure adherence to tax filing timelines and accuracy of reports as per tax laws.
- Maintain GST input credit accounting and related registers as per the GST Act.
Audit Preparedness
- Prepare financial statements and supporting documents for audits.
- Provide required information and explanations to auditors and implement corrective actions for any audit findings.
- Ensure timely completion of audits with minimal non-compliance observations.
Statutory Compliance
- File monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual returns for TDS, service tax, and GST across all applicable states.
Bank Reconciliation Statements
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).

5. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Educational Qualifications
- Required: B.Com / M.Com
- Preferred: IPCC/CA Inter/CMA Inter/CS Inter
Functional Skills
- Accounts, Tax, Audit, Banking, Oracle Finance Module, and MS Office.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and tax regulations.

- 4-5 years of relevant experience
