JOB TITLE: MANAGER – FINANCE & ACCOUNTS REPORTS TO: DGM - FINANCE

JOB PURPOSE
• Good knowledge in accounting of purchases both domestic and imports.
• Hands on experience on Solar Park project accounting / EPC business accountings
• Knowledge of GST in respect of eligible input credits, blocked credits and its proper accounting.
• Knowledge of TDS: its applicability, threshold limits, rates and proper deduction and accounting.
• Handling of clearing and forwarding operations in respect of import of goods.
• Knowledge of customs and accounting of duty payments.
• Capex accounting and knowledge of depreciation. Knowledge of accounts payable.
• Good knowledge on inventory accounting, provision for non-moving inventory.
• SAP Controls: Accounting of inventory write off, accounting of spares and consumables, etc
• Preparation of monthly report: Non-moving inventory reports, closing stocks, net realisable value,
support on getting purchase register & sales register.
• MIS: Inventory aging, preparation of trading account and COGS for quarterly financials.
• Support for closing books of accounts: Stock report for stock audit, creditors written off or write back,
cost details for cost audits.
• Submission of bill of exchange (BOE) for Import Remittances.
• Other relevant statutory compliances on purchases and inventory.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Verification of Purchase invoice for Security Inward & QC Acceptance.
• Validation of Goods Receipt Note by comparing with Purchase order for Rate & Qty.
• Calculation of Landed cost details before Goods Receipt Note. Passing Landed cost entry by Linking
GRN
• Assess the applicability of RCM and accounting of RCM liability in SAP for the applicable transactions
• Accounting of Purchase through AP Invoice in SAP linking Goods Receipt Note.
• Accounting of Duty & IGST paid on Import Purchase.
• Validation of Local Freight, Export Freight, Import Freight & Clearing Bills.
• Accounting of Local & Export Freight bills against the Provisions.
• Accounting of Import freight & Clearing bills against Adjustment entry passed in Landed cost Accounting.
• Validation of Capex Bills by comparing with Purchase Orders. Monthly Depreciation Accounting.,
accounting Sale of Asset.
• Validation of Approval to write off Inventories issued for warranty Replacement & Others. Monthly
Accounting of Consumables & Spares write off
• Accounting of solar park: Purchase of land, expenses on common infrastructures, accounting of GO &
Liasoning Expenses linking with Purchase order.
• Maintain Exports Duty Drawback Receivable & Rode tap Credit Utilisation Details.
• Passing Year End Provisions.
• Monthly Submission of BOE for Import Remittances and Shipping Bills for export transactions with Bank.
• Ready to take additional new roles as per requirement.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Commerce Graduate with 5 to 8 years of experience (+ CA Inter will be added preference).
• Has worked in a manufacturing company.
• Working knowledge of SAP (B1 / R3) must.
• Has worked up from junior accounting position to Manager position.
• Software skills: Advanced Excel / MS Office.
• A real self-starter, able to take initiative and handle independently
