Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced professional to lead land acquisition efforts for projects across Karnataka (STU + CTU). The ideal candidate will be responsible for negotiation, deal closure, liaising with external agencies, and maintaining land records. This is a new role, offering an opportunity to build and streamline the land acquisition function.

Key Responsibilities:

• -Lead land acquisition for all projects across Karnataka, ensuring smooth execution.
• -Negotiate and finalize deals, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• -Liaise with external agencies, including government bodies, local authorities, and legal consultants.
• -Conduct land research and due diligence to maintain updated land records.
• -Develop strong relationships with landowners, brokers, and key stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

• -Experience in land acquisition within the renewable energy sector. (Manufacturing experience may be considered.)
• -Fluent in Kannada – must be a Karnataka local, even if currently based elsewhere in South India.
• -Strong negotiation skills and the ability to conclude high-value deals.
• -Experience in liaison and regulatory approvals with government authorities.
• -Ability to work on-site across multiple locations in Karnataka.
