Job Purpose:
Positioning Soleos as a leader in renewable energy solutions across Africa, the Middle East, and Europe.
Collaborate with International Team: Work closely with the International Business Development team to develop and execute strategic business initiatives for the international market.
Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients through regular communication, meetings, and presentations.
Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify industry trends, potential clients, and business opportunities in foreign markets.
Lead Generation: Expand the client base through various channels, including online research, networking events, and referrals.
Proposal Development: Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and other sales materials for client meetings and pitches.
Pipeline Management: Track leads and opportunities, managing the sales pipeline and providing regular updates to the international BD team.
Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate terms and pricing with clients, working toward closing deals to achieve sales targets.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams, including marketing and operations, to ensure alignment with business development efforts.
Performance Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and client feedback for management review.
Sales Revenue: Contribution to the company’s financial objectives through revenue generated from international markets.
Client Acquisition Rate: Number of new clients acquired within a specified period.
Pipeline Conversion Rate: Percentage of leads that convert into paying clients.
Client Retention Rate: Measure of long-term client relationships and sustained business value.
Market Penetration: Percentage of the target market captured by the company.
Business Development Strategy: Develop and implement plans to expand the company’s presence in international markets.
Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, ensuring tailored solutions to their needs.
Market Research & Analysis: Stay ahead of market developments by analyzing industry trends, competitor activities, and client preferences.
Lead Generation & Conversion: Proactively prospect, network, and execute marketing campaigns to convert leads into clients.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams to align business development initiatives with overall company strategies.
Financial Responsibilities: Budget and cost revenue/cost-saving responsibilities.

Experience: 3-6 years in Business Development, preferably in solar EPC projects.
