Position: GM – Project Management
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Project planning to ensure project are on schedule, cost and quality
Project closure with OEM/Contractor – Asset Transfer from Project Phase to Operation phase
Writing contractual correspondences /letter/claims to OEM/Contractor
Assessment of Extension of Time claims of contractors with delay analysis
Periodic review meeting with contractors and maintain all records of the same
Coordination with land and permit team to ensure land and all approvals obtained as per project schedule
Taking inputs from site team/land team about CSR activities that has to be planned during execution. Also, to allocate budget for the same
To ensure zero deviation from Vena HSSE/compliance policy at site
Provide scope matrix for new projects/ BD contracts
Ensuring timely pay-outs to vendors and contractors as per contract terms, forecasting and communication of cash flow required for the projects to F&A team
Training and development of teams working at sites, act as mentors to team members
Work with BD&C for project suitability studies during origination
Development of project specific approvals needs and design requirements to meet PPA and other required regulatory needs in discussion with BD&C
Ensure seamless flow of material for execution of projects in discussion with Procurement and Contract team
Resource planning for future projects under PM control and redeployment resource post project completion along with HR
Working closely with planning and controlling lead/associate of projects under execution for material flow, contractor deployment, OE deployment, cash flow, project execution schedule and tracking
Work closely with Project Finance team for required CP closure and provide documentation support for timely drawdown
Make necessary budgetary provisions for implementation of corrective measures as per ESGD recommendations at project site
Set overall goals and objectives for the organization or specific departments
Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company goals
Provide leadership and direction to ensure alignment with company vision and values
Hire, train, and manage department heads and staff
Foster a positive work culture and ensure effective team collaboration
Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback and coaching to team members
Qualifications / Experience / Knowledge Required
Education
Bachelor's degree in Science/Engineering or equivalent
Additional professional qualifications in Project Management (PMP certification preferred)
Work Experience
15–18 years of experience in Construction and Project Management
Construction of Wind Projects, minimum 150 MV under EPC
Experience in Renewable Energy Sector preferred (Solar)
Should be leading / or have led a team of 20 people
Professional License/Certifications
PMP Certification (preferred)
