Designation: - Electrical Design Engineer

Responsibilities: -

1. Prepare and review design, layout & drawings, capacity, shadow analysis. Optimise layout and plant capacity. Site analysis, site feasibility reports, preparation of primary BOM, evaluation of BOM as per customer requirement.
2. Design of electrical SLD & plant layout & drawings, detailed equipment specification using AutoCAD. Preparing BOM/BOQ, SLD & Electrical design. Design independently (SLD, Array layout, GA Drawing, inverter fabrication, canopy design and allied drawings for sharing placements and methodology of installation)
3. Coordination with vendors during execution
4. Configuration and sizing of PV plant 
5. Design PV Monitoring system. Energy generation report using PVSyst software from generation guarantee perspective.
6. Preparation of completed detailed engineering including PV Array layout, AC & DC Cable Sizing, Earthing Calculation and vendor drawings & documents, etc., It also includes AC and DC cable trench layouts, Earthing Layout, Composite Layout, SCADA Architecture etc
7. Work closely with BD Teams, Project teams and ensure deadlines are met. Resolve issues with root cause analysis. Working with marketing team for submitting offers.
8. Should have design experience in DC, AV LT & HT side.
9. Engineering calculations, sizing of solar power plant, power cables and selection of technology system based on customer requirement.
10. Creating Layout and Shadow analysis of site using Sketchup.
11. Analytical working of generation vs. capacity.
12. Preparation of costing sheet from technical perspective.
13. Working as per the design Codes & standard, and other governing standards for design of solar PV systems.
14. To scrutinize all the technical offers received from various approved vendors with respect to agreed contract specifications and our operational requirement of the plants.
15. Ensure timely preparation of BOQ for complete electrical items by close coordination with inter departments.

Requirement: -

1. 8 – 12 years of Solar Electrical Design experience
2. B.E. or B.Tech. in Electrical or Electronics Communications Engineering
3. Shall be proficient with Autocad, PV syst and Sketchup softwares
4. Must be self- motivated, extremely thorough, have excellent organizational skills and professional integrity
5. Proficiency in English reading and writing.
6. Salary will be as per market standards.
