Channel Sales Manager

Job Description

 

The Channel Sales Manager is responsible for driving business development and achieving sales targets in the assigned region. The role focuses on increasing bus volumes and market share through effective channel management and customer engagement, in line with the organization’s overall business strategy and goals.

 

Function: Sales & Marketing – Bus Sales
Level: Deputy Manager
Reports To: Regional Sales Manager

 

Key Responsibilities

  • - Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve regional business targets.
  • - Drive bus sales through dealer network management and expansion.
  • - Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, customers, and channel partners.
  • - Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and identify growth opportunities.
  • - Lead, guide, and motivate the DSE (Dealer Sales Executive) team to achieve sales goals.
  • - Ensure effective collaboration with internal teams to support business objectives.
  • - Negotiate with customers and partners to secure profitable deals.

 

Skills & Competencies

 

Technical & Functional Skills:

  • - Strong product and industry knowledge (Bus/Automotive segment)
  • - Sound commercial and financial acumen
  • - Proficiency in sales and negotiation techniques
  • - Expertise in channel management and development

 

Behavioural & Leadership Skills:

  • -Team leadership and people management (DSE team)

-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

-Ability to collaborate across functions and build strong networks

-Strategic thinking with hands-on execution capability
